Ingredients

  • 2oz rye whiskey (or bourbon)
  • 1oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 cherry

Instructions

  1. Take a cherry out of the jar and thoroughly rinse off all of the syrup.
  2. Place it in a coupe or Nick and Nora glass (martini glass).
  3. Add whiskey and sweet vermouth into a mixing glass with ice.
  4. Stir for 10–12 seconds and strain into the glass containing the cherry.
